EDITOR’S RATING

Fruity, crisp and light, Château Pigoudet Premiere Rosé is enjoyable and perfect for a Summer afternoon.

7.8

Today we are reviewing a bottle of 2019 Premiere Rosé from Château Pigoudet. Originating from the mountains of Provence, Pigoudet is blended with Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cinsault. Suggested pairings are salads and green vegetables. Crisp, light and dry, there is a slight tartness present in the first sip, with some light bitterness on the back end. Fruity undertones are present and it gets more enjoyable as the bottle goes on. With an alcohol content of 13% and not too much acidity, Château Pigoudet Premiere Rosé is a pretty good selection in the $12 price range.
