EDITOR’S RATING
The Italian Rosaenovae is slightly bitter, but pops with flavor and complimentary with a meal.
Today’s bottle of Rosé is from the Italian made Rosaenovae from producer Terredora Dipaolo. Blended with Aglianico from Campania, Rosaenovae has a 12% alcohol content with a very good acidity. Boasting a beautiful salmon-pink color, the positively reviewed Rosé’s suggested pairings are a hors d’oeuvres, pasta, risotto, fish soup and white meat. Light and dry, it was slightly biter on the first sip, however its fruitiness popped as the hints of cherries and apricots were very prominent. After pairing this with pasta, each sip tasted more smooth and crisp, making it extremely enjoyable. Overall a very good bottle of Rosé at a $14 price point that goes excellent with a meal.
